The Completely Naked Stage Workshop

The Naked Stage is an extended improvisational theatre form that creates fully improvised multi-act plays (usually two or three) with the intensity and structure of a written chamber play. At the first Naked Stage workshop, participants learned how to perform this format. This workshop focuses on doing it well.

At least half the participants have already completed the first workshop, allowing us to advance further and tell higher-quality stories. We will concentrate on stage craft, characters, and environment - using silence, seemingly pointless tangents, and jokes that are funny only to those telling them. The result is stories that are sometimes serious, mostly funny, and always absurd.

One hour will be reserved for lunch.
