A dramatization of the novel "Five Little Pigs", in which young woman Carla seeks to clear her mother's name. Sixteen years ago, her mother was found guilty of murdering her husband and sentenced to death by hanging. On the day Carla comes of age, however, she receives a letter her mother wrote before her death — in which she declares her innocence.

Carla decides to uncover what really happened at the family estate of Alderbury. She enlists a famous detective and together, with the help of five key witnesses, they delve into the past. Can the whole truth be revealed after so much time has passed?
