EKOFILM 2026 Film Festival

The 52nd edition of the international EKOFILM festival runs October 1-4, 2026, showcasing Czech and international documentaries about nature, climate, and the environment. This year's theme is "Water Cycle" - exploring how water moves through landscapes and cities, and what happens when we disrupt this natural process. When water disappears from the land, taps still flow for a while - but drought begins quietly in overheated cities, dried-out fields, and forests losing their ability to retain water.

Four days of films, discussions, and meetings with filmmakers and experts. The programme is designed for both children and adults, with events extending beyond cinema halls.
