Sabbatical: Tools of Resistance - Workshop
After nearly a decade of intensive work in the cultural sector, the facilitator took a sabbatical to slow down. Feeling pulled between multiple realities - constantly planning for the future while archiving the past - they found the present slipping away. The sabbatical became a space to reassess priorities and reconnect with what truly matters: deep friendships, the joy of organizing, creative problem-solving, and the belief that a fairer world is possible through art.
During this workshop, participants will explore concrete tools for resisting external and internalized pressures. You'll discover what strategies you already carry, where to find genuine support, and how to continue meaningful work without losing your footing.
The session will involve small-group work, listening, sharing, and rest. Before the workshop, you'll receive a short form to help tailor the programme to the group's needs.
The workshop is conducted in Czech. Parents with children are welcome.
Trigger warning: the topic touches on burnout.
