Upper Nusle

Upper Nusle is as obscure on Prague's map as Lower Žižkov - most Praguers would struggle to point out exactly where it lies and what actually sets it apart from the surrounding areas. Yet it differs not only from Pankrác, which is formally part of Nusle, but also from the so-called Jamrtal below Nuselský Bridge.

Finding Upper Nusle on a map is one thing; discovering its story is another. This walk explores the local history, the people, administration, and businesses that operated here, as well as the legends connected to this place.
