Tomáš Etzler "A Journalist in China" - Discussion

Journalist Tomáš Etzler spent seven years in China as a correspondent for Czech Television and producer for the American network CNN.

At this discussion, he will talk about the life of a foreign correspondent in a totalitarian country, the transformations of China, and whether it is truly a superpower of the 21st century. The conversation will also touch on how China's middle class lives in cities and how people in rural areas live.

Tomáš will attempt to answer these and similar questions, with time for audience questions as well.
