ArtKryt 2026: Yoga to the Sound of Himalayan Singing Bowls
As part of the ArtKryt 2026 art exhibition, which focuses on mental health, a special yoga class will take place.
The session offers stretching and relaxation accompanied by the vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. After gentle breathing with mindful movement, there will be a sound relaxation session with hand-tuned bowls, whose sound and vibrations create a space for calm and release. Instructors Milena Zakri Alinčová and Martina Dobiášová trained to work with the bowls under Nepali masters from the Nirvána Singing Bowls Pokhara studio.
The exhibition in the shelter is complemented this year by an accompanying programme that includes workshops, musical performances, and film screenings. The main programme takes place in the shelter itself, with selected accompanying events held at the nearby Etc. gallery.
Participation in the yoga class is free, but a place must be reserved. If the person who made the reservation does not arrive by 10:00, the reservation is forfeited and the place will be offered to other interested participants.
