Evening in the Garden (4-6 years)

A music and drama workshop for children aged 4-6.

The garden grows dark. The apprentices have fallen asleep, but the birds still keep watch. Above them burns a deep red sky with golden stars - an image from the Christ on the Mount of Olives by the Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece, silence and peace. With Lída Bajerová, we will bring the night garden to life through sound, movement, light and shadow. Who can stay awake when everyone else falls asleep? And what can it mean to be close to someone?

Instructor: Ludmila Bajerová

Lída Bajerová is a choir director, pianist, improviser and educator specializing in drama and movement. She draws those around her into a playful musical world where everyone can be fully themselves, and creates original themes that inspire the whole group to shape the details together. What is hard to describe is better experienced firsthand.

She collaborates on educational projects with the Czech Philharmonic, taught for ten years at a primary school with extended music education, is an instructor for the Czech Orff Society, and works with singing choirs in Prague and Liberec.
