Blue Treasure (4-6 years)

A music and movement workshop for children aged 4-6 years.

On the palette, we mix precious blue. For water, for sky, for a moment of silence. Blue is high, blue is low, blue is far, blue is near... So if it's everywhere around us, why is it more expensive than gold? Ultramarine from lapis lazuli stone had to travel quite a distance across the sea to Europe from distant Afghanistan. Join Lenka Pospíšilová on the trail of blue treasure, across mountains, seas, and with stars overhead.

Instructor: Lenka Pospíšilová

Lenka Pospíšilová is the author of many children's songs and has published several collections in book form. She plays piano, flute, guitar, and spice pouches - or whatever comes to hand. She is a music education teacher and methodologist, and chair of the Czech Orff Society. Since 1991, she has led educational seminars for educators in the Czech Republic, Europe, America, and Australia.
