Marital Turbulence
KC Semilasso, Brno
"The biggest turbulence you'll experience is not in an airplane, but at home in the bedroom. Especially when you live with a cop."
Norbert is a rough-around-the-edges police officer being grilled by the general inspectorate for excessive force. His sister Christina tries to cheer him up, but she has her own troubles with her husband Erik — a famous journalist who was fired from the radio three months ago and, despite all psychiatric care, hasn't spoken a word since. Norbert takes his brother-in-law to a parade, and Erik finally starts talking. But as the police investigation unfolds, Norbert himself sinks into deep apathy — and his wife Sophie joins a cult in the meantime.
Just when it seems everything might return to normal, a series of unexpected events unfolds and real turbulence begins. Francis Veber, author of "The Dinner Game", shows in his latest comedy that only humor can help survive life's dizzying whirlwind.
