Designers for Kids: Light Up Your Poster
This year's workshop series responds to the theme of LIGHT, which runs throughout the entire DesignBlok festival. All workshops engage consciously with this concept and are open to the general public without an upper age limit for the first time.
What if the most important thing when creating a poster is not what you add, but what you remove? In this workshop, participants will work in reverse - instead of layering, they will subtract and reveal the light hidden beneath the surface of old posters. They will discover that white space is not emptiness, but a space that lets the image breathe. The result is an original poster that participants take home. The workshop is led by graphic designer Tereza Saitz.
