Mushroom Orienteering Run

A mushroom-themed orienteering run designed for running enthusiasts and mushroom lovers - perfect for families with children, couples, or individuals looking to find teammates through this event. Teams start in pairs, as a family, or as a group.

The concept is straightforward: 10 mushroom baskets are placed throughout the Royal Game Reserve Stromovka, each containing cards with a mushroom species and a multiple-choice quiz (A-B-C-D) testing mushroom knowledge. Answers are recorded on a competition card. Starts from the Vozovna depart at one-minute intervals, and participants receive a map showing the approximate locations of the baskets in the park. The goal is to find as many baskets as possible within the time limit, solve the quizzes, and return to the start - correct mushroom identifications reduce your time, while wrong answers add time. The team with the shortest final time wins a prize basket from event partners.

Practical information:
- Meeting point is at 10:00 in front of the Vozovna restaurant in Stromovka.
- You'll need running or outdoor shoes and a mushroom basket (one per team is enough). Your team should have a name, which you can come up with on the spot.
- At 10:00 there will be a rules briefing, around 10:30 the first team starts and subsequent teams depart at one-minute intervals. The time limit to complete all locations is 30 minutes.
- Before the results are announced, there's a short 100-meter race for the youngest children - the task is to collect edible mushrooms into a basket along the course while avoiding poisonous ones.
- After the announcement, around 13:00, you can have lunch at the Vozovna.
