An evening of festival students as part of the "Dialogues – Inspiration 1" series takes place on July 19 from 18:00 at Villa Engelsmann.

Students will perform under the guidance of instructors: Pavla Fendrichová, Kristýna Němečková, Milan Tomášik, Klára Melíšková, Jaromír Strahovský, Marián Balog, and Miroslav Hlaučo.

About the venue: Vila Engelsmann

Vila Engelsmann is a neo-Baroque villa built in 1931–1932 on Hlinky Street in Brno for textile industrialist and art collector Felix Engelsmann. The L-shaped building with a mansard roof and grand street façade stands in stark contrast to the functionalism dominant at the time. The owners fled the Nazi occupation in 1939; the villa was confiscated and later nationalised. Today it is privately owned and available for event hire and guided tours.

About: Pavla Fendrichová

Pavla Fendrichová is a Czech singer, choirmaster and voice pedagogue who teaches at DAMU (Prague's Theatre Faculty) and collaborates with Dejvické divadlo and Divadlo Minor. She takes a holistic approach to the voice, working with actors, singers and amateurs alike, and has led vocal workshops in Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. She also directs the women's choir Chrpy.
