New Model Army

New Model Army will perform at Fléda on 10 July. The Bradford-based band, led by frontman Justin Sullivan, has been playing since 1980 and has released numerous albums — from early punk recordings through influences of Northern English folk to dark rock. Their sound is built on pulsing bass lines and Sullivan's lyrics about social injustice and personal freedom.

Their repertoire includes classics such as "Vengeance" and "Thunder and Consolation" as well as material from their new album "Unbroken". The band is known for its devoted fan base, which they call "The Family", and concerts without studio embellishments.
