The Last Season

The film follows Alan, a young man from a fairground family background, and Viki, a lifeguard who is coming to terms with disappointment and uncertainty about the future after failing her university entrance exams. Both spend the summer at Zemplín Reservoir during a time when they are trying to understand where they belong, what they want from life, and how to break free from the expectations their surroundings have set for them.

The story captures young people on the threshold of adulthood, yet its themes transcend a single generation - self-discovery, major life decisions, the desire for freedom, the need for recognition, and the courage to start anew.
