A Lover, Not a Fighter

Andrej has decided to stop causing trouble. He plans to spend the summer at his grandmother's house, help her out, and most importantly avoid alcohol - which usually drives him to climb tall trees he can't get down from.

But his plans are disrupted by Misha, whom he somehow falls in love with. And sometimes love requires fighting - even alongside his somewhat boring cousin Peter, who loves wearing sweaters.

The debut feature by Slovak director Martina Buchelova is a cry for cinematic freedom, brimming with humour and inventive formal and narrative ideas.
