The Price of Care

A theatrical production about our relationship to our own work and the work of others, about final wishes and the price that care carries with it. Based on the work and life of architect Růžena Žertová.

Three women — Růžena, Alice, and Šárka — who succeeded in the field of architecture and who were united by the last two wishes of the eldest among them: to bequeath their own family home to the public and to die at home. A shared goal that, despite great determination, could not be achieved.

How much attention do buildings from the second half of the 20th century deserve? What value does a person's final wish hold for us? Can we appreciate the invisible care of women?
