A full-day programme at Vyšehrad marks the centenary of the death of Prof. Rudolf Jedlička (1869-1926), who fundamentally shaped modern care for children and young people with physical disabilities. Guided tours, expert lectures, a concert by The Tap Tap band, and other activities will explore Jedlička's legacy at Vyšehrad.

The day also includes a wreath-laying ceremony at Professor Jedlička's grave at Vyšehrad Cemetery and the planting of a memorial tree in Karlachovy Gardens. Throughout the day, a new book "Rudolf Tomáš Jedlička - Life, Work and Legacy" will be available for purchase at the NKP Vyšehrad tent on Mýtný Square, with its official presentation taking place that day.

Full Programme:
- 11:00-17:00 | Guided tours "In the Footsteps of Jedlička" (admission 100 CZK) - focusing on the architectural history of Jedlička's buildings, departing hourly from Vyšehrad Information Centre. The route covers the Jedlička Institute and schools, the Institute for Mother and Child Care, and the Podol Barracks. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- 11:00-11:15 - Wreath-laying at Rudolf Jedlička's grave at Vyšehrad Cemetery
- 11:30-11:45 - Planting of a memorial tree in Karlachovy Gardens
- 12:00-13:00 - Open-air concert by The Tap Tap in front of the Burgrave's House (free admission)
- 13:00-16:00 - Thematic lectures at the Burgrave's House (voluntary admission)
- 13:00 - Life and Work of R. Jedlička - speakers: Václav Liška, Jitka Cirklová
- 14:00 - The Jedlička Institute and Schools - speaker: Petr Kolář
- 15:00 - Jedlička's Transformations of Vyšehrad - speaker: Petr Kučera
- 10:00-18:00 - Guided tours of the Jedlička Institute, introducing the buildings and their daily operations. Tours begin at the Old Building of the Jedlička Institute.
- 10:00-18:00 - Supporting programme on Mýtný Square

On Mýtný Square, there will be stalls from organisations connected with the Jedlička Institute - the Foundation and Sports Club of the Jedlička Institute, Borůvka o.p.s., Ta kavárna, and NKP Vyšehrad.
