Description was written before the event

Mohelnice Museum transforms into a farm full of domestic animals in July. Through interactive games, puzzles, and quizzes, children learn which animals live on the farm, how to care for them, and what they are useful for.

The exhibition also features beloved pets - dogs and cats.

About the venue: Muzeum Mohelnice

The museum occupies a former rectory and deanery whose origins go back to the second half of the 13th century - the building was likely part of the now-vanished Mohelnice castle. It took its current form after a fire in 1841. Founded in 1923, it has been a branch of the Regional Museum in Šumperk since 1967. Two permanent exhibitions cover the area's history: "From the History of the Mohelnice Region" (Gloria musaealis award 2005) and "Prehistory of the Mohelnice Region" in the Gothic cellars, featuring Neolithic Venus figurine fragments and a Renaissance fresco known as the Feast of the Rich Man.
