Junk World

Following the success of his previous hit Junk Head, director Takahide Hori returns with Junk World, taking us on a new journey through his twisted stop-motion universe.

Junk Head captivated film festivals with its unique stop-motion animation, the oppressive atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world, and bizarre characters struggling to survive at any cost. Building on its international success and victories at the Future Gate festival (jury and audience awards), Junk World is set more than a thousand years before the events of the first film.

The protagonist is a small robot named Robin, who embarks on a long and arduous journey through a hostile wasteland filled with dangers and encounters with obscure inhabitants. The film once again showcases unique animation with technical precision.
