Václav Havel's Ninetieth Birthday
Nová budova Národního muzea, Prague
A guided walk commemorating Václav Havel's unrealized ninetieth birthday, taking participants to Prague locations connected with his life, family, and public work. At the former Federal Assembly building, visitors will learn about his journey from dissident to president. On Příkopy Street, they will meet the curatorial team behind the panel exhibition "The Story of the Havel Family", which traces the history and fates of this prominent family. The route also leads to sites linked to the events of November 1989 and to a steel heart sculpture by Kurt Gebauer.
