The 15th annual benefit concert by the band Mrakoplaš in support of Alzheimer's research and treatment. The concert takes place on October 4, 2026 at 19:30, hosted by Pavel Anděl.

The main guests this year are Michal Prokop, winner of numerous Anděl music awards, and Miloň Čepelka, co-founder of Jára Cimrman Theatre. Mrakoplaš will accompany Michal Prokop in several songs and will also perform musical settings of Miloň Čepelka's sonnets, which the author will enhance with his own recitation.

The programme includes a traditional auction of rare items - proceeds will go towards Alzheimer's research.

About the venue: Theatre V Dlouhé

Divadlo v Dlouhé is a repertory theatre with a permanent ensemble, founded in 1996 as an institution of the City of Prague. It operates in a listed building from 1929, with a main hall for over 400 spectators and a chamber foyer stage. Its dramaturgy focuses on lesser-known titles and crosses into alternative, musical, puppet and cabaret genres. The theatre stages over 120 performances for children and youth each year and organises the festivals Dítě v Dlouhé and 13+.

Mrakoplaš is a Czech band operating at the crossroads of blues, jazz, folk and folk-rock. In 2023 they released the album Tichá radost, followed by two tours of the same name. The group is known for original songwriting and an active presence on the independent Czech music scene.

About: Michal Prokop

A legend of Czech rock who has shaped the country's blues and soul scene since the 1960s, Michal Prokop performs both with Framus Five and in the intimate Michal Prokop Trio. His tenth studio album Ostraka (2025) took home two Anděl Awards and went platinum.
