Architecture Day: Prague - Living Inner Courtyards

A guided tour of two inner courtyards in Dejvice with representatives of the Bieno association. Unused spaces in the middle of residential blocks can serve as shared spaces for residents of surrounding buildings - and this is exactly what is happening in Dejvice.

On Srbská Street, residents have jointly transformed a technical courtyard into a meeting and gardening space. On Zelená Street, a large inner courtyard is being redesigned with the participation of Prague 6 District Office and the Bieno association. The tour will show the individual phases and concrete steps of this transformation.

Guided by: Barbora Týcová and Michal Křivohlávek, project manager at Bieno
