Architecture Day: Prague - Cisarská Louka

Guided tour of the houseboat colony with photographer and local resident Daniel Hauser.

The river island, formerly known as Royal Meadow, has a rich history - from inns and sporting events through connections to the Premyslids and Emperor Francis Joseph I to the beginnings of Czech football. The harbour here still retains its industrial character while serving as a meeting point for different visions of the area's future: developer plans, sports clubs' interests, and campsite and boat mooring operators.

The tour does not focus on historical explanation but on the current state of the harbour and everyday life in this "village on water" - including the interior of one of Prague's oldest boats.
