Architecture Day: Prague - ČSOB SHQ
The ČSOB Campus in Radlice comprises two administrative buildings. The first was completed in 2007 by architect Josef Pleskot in the Radlice valley; the second - designed by brothers Marek and Štepán Chalupa - was built on the slopes of the same valley and finished in 2019. Both buildings share an emphasis on ecologically responsible architecture and an open arrangement of work and relaxation zones. The rectangular grid of the structures is softened by abundant greenery and sensitive integration into the natural terrain.
The campus provides workplaces for several thousand employees and features a green relaxation roof with a running track, streetball and workout courts. The older building holds LEED Gold certification, while the newer building by the Chalupa brothers achieved LEED Platinum New Construction.
Guided tours will provide access to workspaces, common areas, and rooftop gardens in the section designed by the Chalupa brothers. Photography is not permitted inside the buildings, and the tour is not designed as barrier-free. Co-organizer: Československá obchodní banka, a.s.
