Architecture Day: Prague - Fritz Lehmann: Architect of Another Modernity

A guided tour of selected works by Fritz Lehmann, a significant figure in German interwar Prague architecture. Led by architect Jan Bureš.

Lehmann's work represents an alternative to Czech avant-garde and functionalism: instead of radical experimentation, he developed modern classicism based on monumental proportions, refined materials, and attention to detail.

The tour also explores the cultural milieu of Prague's German community and the life story of an architect whose work left a lasting mark on the city's interwar character.
