Screening of the short film "Living Traces" about the displacement and resettlement of abandoned border regions, followed by a discussion with historian Jan Vondroušek.

The end of World War II brought fundamental changes to Europe - including border adjustments and the expulsion of German-speaking population from Czechoslovakia. How did the organized displacement and resettlement of the border region proceed from January 1946? Who resettled the region in northern Bohemia? And how are the social, demographic, and economic impacts of this migration of millions of people still visible in society and the landscape today, eighty years later? The film and the subsequent debate seek answers in the northern Bohemian border region.
