Architecture Day: Prague - Student House Holešovice

A guided tour of a student residential complex in a corner building with architect Marek Řehoř, one of its designers. The project by Pavel Hnilička Architects + Planners has been developed since 2015 as part of the European THE FIZZ network and offers apartments with private kitchenettes and bathrooms.

The urban character of the building is emphasized by a horizontally articulated facade and ground floor with profiled plaster, which opens onto the streets through large glazed areas and defines both street frontages. The inner courtyard features a garden with a terrace.

The building includes shared spaces for resident students: a multipurpose hall with a bar, kitchen areas, a screening room, a games room, pool tables, a music rehearsal studio, and a garage with a bicycle storage room.
