Tomáš Linka, the distinctive voice of the bands Greenhorns and Fešáci, celebrates his 80th birthday on February 6, 2026. For this occasion, he will release a jubilee compilation on 3CD featuring six new compositions. The entire evening will be performed with his band Přímá linka.

The programme features the greatest hits of his career while paying tribute to colleagues who shaped the Czech country scene - Michal Tučný, Honza Vyčítal, Mirko Hoffmann, and Pavel Brümer.

About the venue: Theatre U Hasičů

Divadlo U Hasičů is a compact stagione theatre in the Vinohrady district of Prague, housed in the building of the Czech Zemská Hasičská Jednota (Firefighters' Association), constructed in 1926–1929. The venue previously served as a variety theatre, the Tatra cinema, and from 1945 to 1994 as the S+H Theatre. Today it stages comedies and drama for adults as well as morning performances for schools, hosts the international Jazz Meets World festival, and presents the radio show Tobogan. The theatre has barrier-free access, around 342 seats, and an in-house café with rotating art exhibitions.

Tomáš Linka (born 6 February 1946, Prague) is a Czech country singer, harmonica player and songwriter. His career has been defined by his work with Greenhorns (1970-1974) and Fešáci (1974-1984, 1994-present), two bands instrumental in shaping Czech country music. Together with Michal Tučný, he stands as one of the genre's most significant figures in the Czech lands. Since 1999 he has fronted his own band Přímá linka and continues to be among the most prolific performers in Czech country music.

Antonín Kny (born 1962) is a Czech country musician, lyricist and music producer. Since 1987 he has served as bandleader and guitarist of Fešáci, one of the leading Czech country acts, and also runs his own Agentura KNY. He and Tomáš Linka form a long-standing songwriting duo, with shared credits including "Key West" and "Do Austrálie". He has produced albums for a wide range of Czech artists.
