"We find ourselves in the atmosphere of a peculiar sanatorium for obese people, from which you simply won't be released until you lose weight. These are questions that increasingly permeate contemporary society regarding excess weight, aesthetic norms for the human body, and consumption dictated by the commercial sphere. What matters more — how much you weigh or whether you can respect yourself?"

The theatre ensemble was founded in 2011 by Marián Lichtenberg and Kateřina Pokorná to continue the theatrical tradition in Mladá Vožice. They focus on author-driven theatre — all productions are written by director Kateřina Pokorná, and the actors, who are friends and neighbours of the founders, play roles written specifically for them.
