Closing Concert of the Conducting Masterclass — Imperial Spa, Karlovy Vary

The closing concert of the conducting masterclass is created in collaboration with the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar. Works by Carl Maria von Weber, Jacques Ibert, and Ludwig van Beethoven will be performed.

About the venue: Imperial Spa

The Imperial Spa (Czech: Císařské lázně, also known as Spa I) is the largest spa building in Karlovy Vary, constructed in 1893–1895 to designs by Viennese architects Fellner and Helmer in the French Neo-Renaissance style. Since 2010 it has been protected as a national cultural monument and stands within the UNESCO-listed spa district. Following a complete restoration, the building reopened in June 2023 as a cultural and social centre, hosting concerts in the Atrium hall, guided tours, and a museum exhibition on the history of spa culture.
