Up End Down
Jatka78, Prague
A new circus poem about angels and people.
Up End Down is a journey from birth to death through fantasy — between earth and heaven, memories and the present, smiles and tears. The story of a person who lives only through their memories and cannot let them go.
The production was created in 2010 as the second staging by the La Putyka ensemble. Actors, acrobats and dancers combine drama with new circus, working with disciplines such as aerial acrobatics and teeterboard. The scenography was designed specifically for the space of Prague's La Fabryka.
