Senses

A new production by Finnish director Maksim Komarov, who has collaborated with the Cirk La Putyka ensemble on projects including Isole, Batacchio, Kaleidoscope, and Slapstick Sonata. The performance draws from 400 years of circus history and weaves it into a single interlaced programme — from abstract minimalism to the traditional buffoonery of medieval marketplaces.

"Senses" combines various styles and genres of circus art, moving between circus and dance accompanied by theatrical elements and references to the history of circus and performance art.
