The Feast
Jatka78, Prague
**The production The Feast is inspired by themes of gluttony, food, and customs associated with dining.**
To play with food or not? Gourmet or gourmand? Hedonism as a gateway to social intoxication. With food comes appetite. To devour the unrepeatable moment. Dessert instead of thanks. Late guests eat bones.
We guys who hang out together dare to invite you to a festive feast. Spectators will become fellow diners and sit with us at one table. They will witness a uniquely curious encounter, an ode to the extraordinary and the breaking of rules that people set for themselves. They will experience an improvised feast firsthand.
Participants will taste a new dimension of immersive and improvised experience. They will be satisfied by a collage of stories, acrobatics, dance, and physical theatre. Each evening will be different and reserved exclusively for fifty guests. It will hold up a mirror to society, where people definitely don't eat until half-full and don't drink until half-drunk.
Food becomes a prop, a stage partner, or another spectator. And a normal feast suddenly becomes an absurd game. Unrehearsed hospitality will plunge into unknown waters with the dexterity of improvisers. Will they drown in soup, or will they make it to the digestif?
The guys from Na ohni a kouři (On Fire and Smoke) will take care of a true gourmet experience. No beating around the bush, because even the porridge will be offered to the spectator for satisfaction. And it won't stop there.
Suitable from age 12.
