Little Hanoi, Next Generation

Little Hanoi, Next Generation is a photographic exhibition presenting more than 70 portraits of members of the second generation of Vietnamese people growing up in the Czech Republic. The project captures their personal stories, professional paths, and experiences of living between Czech and Vietnamese cultures. The exhibition builds on the photographic series Little Hanoi from 2008, presented at the Mánes exhibition hall, and develops this theme in the context of a generation that is now actively entering cultural and social life in Czechia.

The project includes an accompanying programme:
- June 19 – Meet Up with a panel discussion on intergenerational relationships, identity, and the Vietnamese experience in Czechia, featuring representatives of the 1st, 1.5th, and 2nd generations
- June 24 – Story Night, an evening of personal stories and shared experiences from selected portrait subjects
- July 2 – interactive performances U Nguyenů and Strejda Nguyen na návštěvě, which humorously explore cultural differences, family customs, and everyday life in the Vietnamese community

Exhibition opening hours: Mon–Fri 1:00 PM–8:00 PM, Sat–Sun 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Czech Republic. The project's general partner is ČSOB.
