David Herzig | Marjari

David Herzig is a musician, producer, and sound experimentalist working at the intersection of electronic, acoustic, and singer-songwriter music. His debut album Planeta Pluto tells stories of a cosmic drifter wandering between stars and searching for meaning in infinite space and ordinary human fates - electronic textures, rock energy, and songwriting sensibility merge into a distinctive sound oscillating between dreaminess and urgency. Herzig performs in the band Bert & Friends, has long collaborated with Arleta, Never Sol, and MC Geye, and contributed to stage music for productions at the National Theatre, Dejvické Theatre, and Švandův Theatre.

Marjari is a singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Her work consists of layers of guitar sequences recorded on a looper, complemented by samples, over which floats a delicate, pure voice lending her compositions both intimacy and tension. At Alterna she will perform solo - as she says, at heart she remains primarily a songwriter, so her compositions work in an intimate form with just guitar and without a band.
