Pankrácká pláň
took place · 30 Sep 2026
Description was written before the event
An architectural walk starting at Nusle's oldest building - located on Pankrác. The route maps a neighbourhood that was intensively developed during the First Republic: residential buildings and a number of quality public buildings were created here, later joined by interesting post-war structures, including Prague's tallest hotel.
The walk is not focused solely on architecture. It also shows how significantly transport can transform a city's character - today's Pankrác is largely shaped by the opening of the Nuselský Bridge and the extension of Prague's main highway.
The lecturer is Michal Šedivý. The meeting point is at a small park on the corner of Na Pankráci and Sinkulovy streets.
