A functionalist building designed by architect Tomáš Šaška in 1937-1938, distinguished by its elegant curved corner and an astronomical dome on the roof. The observatory was an exceptionally progressive feature for its time, emphasizing the importance of science education for girls.

The tour will take visitors through interiors designed with an emphasis on light, space, and student comfort. You will learn how the school operated during the First Republic, its fate during the communist era, and how it returns to its original mission today. The tour includes visits to the original assembly hall and a modern chapel. Your guide will be Tom Bílý. Proceeds support Open House Praha, z. ú.

Practical information:
- Meeting point is in front of the gymnasium entrance (under the stairs on the pavement)
- The building is not wheelchair accessible - expect many stairs
- Movement through the building is at your own risk; please exercise caution
- The tour is not suitable for small children or pets
