Law Students' Boat Cruise

An evening boat cruise through Brno designed for law students and graduates, each bringing one non-law companion.

Departure at 18:00 from Exhibition Grounds main entrance. First stop at 18:15 on Rybkova street near the university to pick up latecomers. The route then heads through the city centre to Peace Square on Kravá Hill, arriving around 18:30-18:45 for a break, a toast to the rule of law, and sunset views over Brno (weather permitting). The evening continues through the historic centre - Česká street, Svoboďák, and Zelný Market - where the atmosphere becomes even more constitutional with a beer in hand.

From the main railway station, the boat heads south to Staré Lískovec for a short break. On the return, it passes Vsetínská street with views of the illuminated Petrov cathedral. The final longer stop is around 19:40-19:50 at Nové Sady. Passengers can disembark here or continue to Pisárky. The evening may extend to venues in the city centre.

Draft beer is included in the price; bringing your own alcohol is permitted. Ticket inspection will take place - fare dodgers will face strict enforcement. An audiovisual projection is possible on board: whoever provides the funniest clip from the legal world wins two free tickets for the next law cruise. Examples of suitable material include documented legendary incidents from state exams between 2015-2025.
