took place · 28 Sep 2026
Description was written before the event
The hydroelectric power station on Štvanice Island is one of the most architecturally remarkable in the country. Architect Alois Dlabač drew inspiration from French châteaux when designing it. The tour takes visitors directly into the engine room and explores the station's history and current operations. The experience concludes with a climb to a 22-metre tower offering views of the Vltava River and Prague's historic centre.
Last entry at 16:00. The facility is not wheelchair accessible, and entry is at your own risk - by registering, visitors agree to these conditions.
