Through Brevnov, Downstream Along the Brusnice and Against the Flow of Time

A guided walk led by Yveta Kožíšková begins at the gate of Brevnov Monastery and leads through part of Brevnov to the Malovanka intersection. The route follows the course of the Brusnice stream, and participants will learn about the old and recent history of the district - for instance, how the Brevnov mayor ended up on a window of St. Vitus Cathedral, how Antonín Zápotocký saved a famous pub, or where members of the Frištenský Heavy Athletics Club once trained in old Brevnov. The walk will also cover which park locals call Ryšavka and how it got its name, why one spot was called "na vrabčárně", and much more.

The walk lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Tickets must be purchased in advance; children under 12 enter free. The terrain is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.

Cancellation policy: up to 24 hours before the start, a ticket can be rebooked for another date or a substitute can be sent, who will register under the original participant's name.
