Guided Tour: Wolfgang Beltracchi Divine Stories

Wolfgang Beltracchi, a contemporary painter and former forger of international renown, presents his current work in Prague for the first time at the Municipal House. The exhibition "Divine Stories" features more than 90 original paintings and sculptures from 2010-2026.

Beltracchi deliberately builds on the legacy of the Old Masters, which he has long studied and - as his controversial past reveals - masterfully imitated. This time, however, he steps out of the role of imitator and offers his own interpretations, in which historical references interweave with contemporary art.
