Contemporary Dance Technique and Repertoire of Ja som placebo

A workshop led by Michal Herban, the creator and performer of the solo Ja som placebo - taking place the day after two premiere performances of this piece. Participants will discover the movement language of the production, which has become one of the main sources of inspiration for this year's MOVE Fest theme.

The programme combines contemporary dance technique, work with dynamics and floorwork with specific principles and movement phrases directly from Ja som placebo. You will explore material rooted in Herban's choreographic practice, where precisely structured movement meets improvisation and conscious work with the body encounters intense physicality.

The workshop is designed for participants with previous movement or dance experience. Having seen the performance beforehand is an interesting bonus, not a requirement. Come in comfortable clothes suitable for movement.
