Colourful Morning: Caught in Cubes

In the modern art exhibition, children will examine "angular paintings" and learn why they are called cubist. Cubist paintings look as if they have been broken and then imprecisely reassembled - yet you see the bottom, top, front, back and side of an object all at once. The exhibition features figures, stories, still lifes and portraits.

At the end, each child will create their own cubist portrait - of themselves or someone else.

The programme is designed for children aged 2-6 accompanied by parents.
