The Moravian Gallery in Brno expanded in 2025 with a new building - the first open depository in the Czech Republic. During a guided tour, you can view both the building itself and the stored collections. The event is part of Brno Days for Seniors.

About the venue: Řečkovice Depository

The Open Depository of the Moravian Gallery in Brno is the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, ceremonially opened on 31 May 2025. The three-storey building, located on the grounds of a former military barracks in Brno-Řečkovice, houses collections of modern, contemporary and applied art. Visitors can look behind the scenes of museum work – watching digitisation, conservation and restoration of artworks. Entry is only possible as part of a guided tour.
