Art Up Close: Mácha's May and Its Symbolist Illustrations

A guided tour of the prints collection in the exhibition "1796-1918: Art of a Long Century" with poet and performer Jaromír Typlt. Participants will hear selected passages from Mácha's May while Typlt discusses the rhythm, imagery, and color of František Koblih's Art Nouveau illustrations.

The tour is part of the "Art Up Close" series and takes place during Art Prague Week. Each tour in the series focuses on a specific part of the collection and places it in broader contexts that help visitors better understand the whole.
