Visual Storytelling Workshop with Rebekah Lukošus

Stories can be told, written, and drawn - this workshop combines all three approaches through comics. Participants will create their own characters and explore the stories their characters tell.

No previous drawing experience is needed. The workshop uses a collage technique: using simple shapes drawn with pastels, participants cut out, arrange, and combine them into their own characters. After a brief sharing of creations, each person selects one character, invents a story in three comic panels, and draws it on colored A4 paper. At the end, everyone presents their comic to the group.

All materials (pastels, paper, glue) are provided, though you may bring your own supplies. The workshop is conducted in English, lasts 2 hours, and is for participants aged 16 and up.
