Moonage Daydream

Over his lifetime, David Bowie accumulated some five million audiovisual materials related to his artistic career. Director Brett Morgen (The Kid Will Be Fine, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck) spent two years sifting through them - then a year developing the concept and another five years working on the sound design.

The result is an unconventionally crafted documentary about Bowie's career as a musician and visionary, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Morgen's film is as elusive and captivating as the artist himself.
