Future Geology with Cristóbal Schmale

How could the world have come into being? Do trees, stones, rivers, and oceans remember the beginning of time?

Long before us, the Earth was constantly transforming. Beneath our feet lie millions of years of change, extinct forms of life, landscapes that no longer exist, and traces of worlds we never had the chance to know.

During this workshop, we become explorers of the impossible. Inspired by the evolution and transformations of our planet, we will imagine new forms of life, strange minerals, untouched landscapes, extinct creatures, and ecosystems that may have existed - or perhaps never did. Through drawing, abstraction, and fiction, we will gather traces, invent new species, and reconstruct worlds based on what remains of them. At the end of our expedition, we will compile our discoveries into a field notebook.

Bring your favorite drawing supplies; basic materials will be provided as part of the workshop. Duration: 2.5 hours. Capacity is limited - advance booking through GoOut is required; without a ticket, your place cannot be guaranteed.
