The Casino Phenomenon

A guided tour of the historic Casino Community House in Mariánské Lázně will take visitors through the building's history, architecture, and the story of the oldest Czech symphony orchestra, which is still based here today.

The tour includes the main halls - the Marble, Mirror, and Red halls - as well as the Pink salon and the rehearsal room of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra. The programme also features a behind-the-scenes look at the orchestra and its more than 200-year history. The tour is led by Vladimír Smutný, director of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra.

Tours take place every Thursday at 14:00 on the following dates: February 12, 19, March 12, 26, April 9, 30, May 7, 28, June 4, 18, July 2, 16, August 6, 20, September 3, 24, October 8, 22, November 5, 26, December 3, 17. Duration approximately 40 minutes, in Czech. Tours begin and end in the foyer of the Casino Community House.
